In 2019, marine biologists surveying Singapore's newest reclaimed land found something nobody expected: a thriving, fully aquatic population of dodos, quietly evolved in the Tuas shallows for three centuries. NParks confirmed it. We turned it into burgers.

Dodo meat exists in exactly one place on Earth right now. It's on this menu, not anyone else's.

A comeback, not a commodity

Every other patty on every other menu is beef, chicken, or plant protein. Ours went extinct once and came back anyway.

Reclaimed, like everything else here

Singapore's been reclaiming land from the sea for fifty years. Turns out we reclaimed a bird too — raised in the same shallows, never shipped in.

What actually happened

When land reclamation reached the old Tuas mudflats, sonar crews picked up movement nobody could place. Descendants of Raphus cucullatus — the dodo of Mauritius — had survived by going somewhere nobody thought to check: underwater.
